LPW - Elgin, 15J, 6S, heavy 14K gold original Solidarity HC with exquisite floral and foliate engraving detail with black tracery enamel inlay, scalloping to three-fourths of band, gold cuvette with 1891 presentation engraving, white enamel SS dial, SW-LS, nickel damascene, s#4458535. Gross weight of assembled watch 42.8 dwt (66.6 g). A notably heavy and exquisitely beautiful gold and enameled case.
CONDITION:
Mvt: NR, fully wound and will tick briefly with some prodding, overhaul needed, excellent cosmetic mvt condition overall, few small surface spots and fine scratches; dial with fracture at 7:30, some hls elsewhere, hand rub within seconds-register; excellent hands; case shows virtually no wear, no dents or dings, superb crisp engraving detail, enameling is virtually fully intact with only few minimal bits of loss; tight bow, crown shows hardly any wear; good glass crystal.
